Wanted Sabata (1970) Now
Bodies began to drop across the county. Every time Sabata tried to corner a witness to make them confess, Sparrow got there first, leaving a fresh corpse and a mountain of evidence pointing to the framed rancher. 💥 The Final Showdown
Sparrow was a ruthless bounty hunter who had concocted a brilliant, diabolical scheme. He didn't want Sabata to hang for a mere $500 reward. By helping Sabata escape and making him a fugitive, Sparrow intended to systematically murder the very witnesses who had lied at the trial. He would pin every new corpse on the fleeing rancher, artificially inflating the bounty on Sabata's head until it was worth a fortune. Only then would Sparrow track him down and cash in.
Sabata managed to track the bounty hunter to an abandoned, sun-bleached mission. Sparrow stood in the center of the courtyard, laughing maniacally at the perfect web of death he had spun. Wanted Sabata (1970)
The 1970 Spaghetti Western Wanted Sabata —directed by Roberto Mauri and starring Brad Harris—is a story about a simple rancher framed for murder by a sadistic bounty hunter named Jim Sparrow. 🏜️ The Setup
Sabata soon learned that his "mysterious savior" was none other than the killer himself, Jim Sparrow. Bodies began to drop across the county
Cornered in the rocky hills and running out of time, Sabata realized he couldn't play by the law's rules anymore. Sparrow was insane, twitchy, and incredibly fast with a draw.
"You're worth five thousand dollars now, Sabata!" Sparrow cackled, his hand hovering over his holster. "I made you a legend. Now I'm going to collect." He didn't want Sabata to hang for a mere $500 reward
At the trial, the four crooked witnesses sealed Sabata's fate. The judge slammed down his gavel, sentencing the innocent rancher to hang.
