The episode centers on a precarious deal between and the Afghan warlord Faraz Hamzad . Dan Chase (Jeff Bridges) agrees to surrender himself to Hamzad to ensure the safety of his daughter, Emily/Angela (Alia Shawkat), who has been captured and poisoned by Bote’s operatives.
