: The film begins with a flashback showing Richard and Mary Parker's death in a plane crash. Years later, Peter discovers his father's hidden lab in a Roosevelt train station, revealing that his parents fled because they refused to help Norman Osborn develop biogenetic weapons.

: During a final battle at a clock tower, Spider-Man defeats the Green Goblin, but Gwen Stacy tragically falls to her death.
