While Buffy and the rest of the "Scooby Gang" are embroiled in a world-ending apocalypse involving the and a demon called the Sisterhood of Jhe, Xander is told by Cordelia that he is the "Zeppo" of the group—the one who doesn't contribute and is just there for comedic relief.
