The history of Matshikos is marked by both great success and profound tragedy. After Joseph Tshimange’s death, fellow original member returned to the group to record this album. Tragically, both Kunene (in 2009) and Tshanda (in 2019) have since passed away, leaving "We Miss You" as a haunting reminder of the group's own eventual departure from the music scene they helped shape.
