The story follows Marcia ( Rebecca Marder ), a young singer who has just finished recording an album with her idol, a 1970s rock icon named Daredjane (Judith Chemla). When Daredjane dies suddenly, Marcia must get legal approval to release the album from Daredjane’s sole heir, Anthony ( Félix Moati ).
Anthony is a market vendor who has no interest in high-brow music or his distant relative's legacy. This leads to a "clash of worlds" between Marcia’s sophisticated Parisian life and Anthony’s more "common" lifestyle.
