Creating a post in Google Classroom depends on whether you want to make an (for the Stream) or an assignment/material (for the Classwork page). Option 1: Create an Announcement (Stream Page) Best for: Updates, reminders, and quick announcements. Go to classroom.google.com and click your class. On the Stream page, click "Share with your class". Type your message. google classroom
Click (or click the arrow next to it to Schedule for later). Option 2: Create an Assignment (Classwork Page) Best for: Graded work, worksheets, and projects. Go to Classwork tab and click + Create . Choose Assignment . Enter a title and instructions. Click Add to attach resources (Docs, Drive, etc.). On the right panel, set points, due date, and topic.
