(2017) is a modern reboot of the iconic 1980s primetime soap opera. It centers on the ultra-wealthy Carrington family in Atlanta as they feud with the rival Colbys for control over their fortune and children.

The story begins with (Elizabeth Gillies) returning home expecting to be named CEO of her father Blake's (Grant Show) energy empire. Instead, she discovers he is engaged to Cristal (Nathalie Kelley), a much younger woman and employee at his company. This leads Fallon to ally with Blake's nemesis, Jeff Colby , to seek revenge and build her own legacy.
