Days after the events of the first film, the flesh-eating virus reaches a water bottling plant. Contaminated "Down Home Water" is delivered to a local high school just as students prepare for their prom. As students drink the infected water (and punch), they begin to exhibit gruesome symptoms, including pus-filled sores and severe internal hemorrhaging.
