Alyssa Branch Info

After graduating from high school in 2017, Alyssa enrolled at the University of North Alabama (UNA) to pursue a degree in nursing. She was a freshman at the time of her disappearance. During her short time at college, Alyssa made several friends and was actively involved in her sorority, Chi Omega.

As we reflect on Alyssa's story, we are reminded of the haunting words of her mother, Teresa Branch: "We just want to know what happened to our daughter. We want to bring her home." The UNA police department, assisted by the Madison County Sheriff's Office and the FBI, conducted an extensive search for Alyssa. They reviewed security footage, interviewed friends and acquaintances, and searched potential locations where Alyssa might have been. The investigation revealed that Alyssa's phone had been active until around 10:30 p.m. on the night of her disappearance, with a final location pinpointed to a rural area in Madison County.
